Core object record

Provide participant reference, title, category, maker or attribution where known, period, materials, dimensions, price, tax treatment, ownership and current location.

Condition and work performed

Describe relevant wear, damage, repairs, replacement parts and restoration. Unknown information should remain unknown rather than being upgraded into a claim.

Images and measurement

Show the whole object, key details, marks and material condition. Measurements need a consistent unit and enough detail for access and placement decisions.

Availability discipline

Record available, held, under inspection, sold or withdrawn. A sale elsewhere must update the Vintage Design Center record immediately.
