Payment processing costs

Online customer payments use Stripe; offline Center customer payments use SumUp. The actual contracted processing cost is shown as its own settlement line.

Stripe online

The customer pays once through the online checkout. Card or local-method processing follows the active Stripe account and transaction.

SumUp offline

The customer pays once at the Center. Vintage Design Center receives that transaction and later settles the participant share.

Do not freeze an assumed percentage

Provider rates can depend on plan, method and country and can change. The active account statement controls the amount charged to the transaction.

Keep three things separate

The statement distinguishes gross customer payment, Vintage Design Center commission and provider processing cost before calculating participant payout.
